Abstract

《替身》講述了一個夢想成為繪本作家的小芭,她暗暗地逃離了自己的生日 派對後,在候車亭偶遇一位自稱具有通靈能力的長者。這位長者依照神明指示為 小芭進行了一場替身法事。隨後,小芭像是被帶進了一個不斷遇見自己的輪迴之 中。 在追尋和自我對話的過程中, 小芭漸漸明白自己可能也只是在夢想中的存 在, 並非真實的自我。每當自己的夢想一次次地破滅,都必須面對是否回歸現實 的抉擇。讓自己疑問的是,所謂的現實,就是真正的自己嗎? 現實,會不會只是 另一個夢想中的自我而已?本片使用 iPhone 電影級模式拍攝,試圖透過後設主義的手法,借鑒自己的過 去創意和回憶,探索現實和夢想之間迷離而壓抑的界限。以超現實主義的敘事方 式,呈現一個以冒牌者為母題的故事。通過詭異的自言自語、荒謬的自我對話和 斷斷續續的劇情,呈現了創作者在創作過程中的孤獨、混亂、壓抑的心境。創作 者試圖透過後設主義的手法,借鑒自己的過去創想和記憶,探索現實、夢想和自 己之間迷離而壓抑的界限。影片完成後進行公開放映和映後座談,整理觀眾的回 饋及提問,進行自我檢討並作出結論,作為自己及其他短片創作者參考。
"The Understudy" tells the story of Barth, a young woman who dreams of becoming a children's book author. She quietly escapes from her own birthday party and encounters an elderly person at a bus stop, claiming to possess clairvoyant abilities. Following the deity's instructions, the elderly person performs a ritual to create a doppelganger for Barth. Subsequently, Barth seems to be trapped in a cycle of encountering herself repeatedly. Throughout her quest and self-dialogue, Barth gradually comes to realize that she might only exist in dreams and is not her true self. Each time her dreams shatter, she is faced with the choice of returning to reality. This raises the question, is reality the true self? Or is reality merely another self within a dream?The film was shot using iPhone Cinematic mode, attempting to explore the blurry and oppressive boundaries between reality and dreams by employing metafictional techniques and drawing from the creator's past creative ideas and memories. It adopts a narrative style inspired by surrealism and presents a story centered around imposters. Through eerie soliloquies, absurd self-dialogues, and fragmented storytelling, the film portrays the creator's feelings of loneliness, confusion, and suppression during the creative process. The creator seeks to explore the enigmatic and stifling boundaries between reality, dreams, and self by utilizing metafictional techniques and drawing from their past creative ideas and memories. After the completion of the film, there will be public screenings and post-screening discussions to gather audience feedback and questions, conduct self-reflection, and draw conclusions to serve as guidance for the creator and other short film creators.
