Abstract

本篇書面報告是以百老匯音樂劇《漢密爾頓》(Hamilton)為研究對象,以編舞的角度進行舞蹈分析即口考舞碼呈現。本書面報告總共分為五個章節,第一章為研究動機與目的、研究方法、研究範圍。第二章為音樂劇舞蹈(編舞)起源與發展,內容包含音樂劇舞蹈發展過程及音樂劇舞蹈發展對《漢密爾頓》編舞家安迪·布蘭肯布勒(Andy Blankenbuehler)的影響。第三章為音樂劇《漢密爾頓》劇作舞蹈介紹及分析,內容為音樂劇《漢密爾頓》介紹、音樂劇《漢密爾頓》舞蹈劇情分析、舞蹈風格及動作分析、舞蹈與音樂的對應關係。第四章為編舞者作品《紐約高地》與《漢密爾頓》表現風格的特殊性,內容為《紐約高地》的表現風格、《漢密爾頓》的表現風格、《紐約高地》和《漢密爾頓》的風格比較與影響。第五章為結語。本研究旨在通過對比安迪·布蘭肯布(Andy Blankenbuehler)的兩部重要作品《漢密爾頓》與《紐約高地》的編舞風格,探討其在音樂劇編舞創作上的革新與發展。本研究揭示了安迪·布蘭肯布勒(Andy Blankenbuehler)在不同作品中的編舞思維和技巧。通過對比分析,本研究強調了在《漢密爾頓》與《紐約高地》中展示編舞的多元性和創意探索,以及其如何通過不同的編舞風格回應作品的主題和社會文化背景。綜合上述,《漢密爾頓》的成功提供了一個探索音樂劇編舞可能性的有益例子,為未來音樂劇編舞的創新和發展提供了有益的參考。
This written report is based on the Broadway musical"Hamilton" as the subject of the study, and the choreography is analyzed from the point of view of the oral examination of the dance code presentation. This written report is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 is about the motivation and purpose of the study, the research methodology, and the scope of the study. Chapter 2 is about the origin and development of musical theater dance (choreography), which includes the process of musical theater dance development and the influence of musical theater dance development on Andy Blankenbuehler, the choreographer of"Hamilton". Chapter 3 is an introduction and analysis of the dance of the musical Hamilton, which includes an introduction to the musical Hamilton, an analysis of the musical Hamilton's dance plot, an analysis of the dance style and movement, and the correspondence between dance and music. Chapter 4 is about the special characteristics of the performance styles of the choreographer's works "New York Heights" and "Hamilton". The contents are the performance style of "New York Heights", the performance style of "Hamilton", and the comparison and influence of the styles of "New York Heights" and "Hamilton". Chapter 5 is the conclusion.The purpose of this study is to explore the innovation and development of Andy Blankenbuehler's choreography in musical theater choreography by comparing the choreographic styles of his two major works, "Hamilton" and "New York Heights". This study reveals Andy Blankenbuehler's choreographic thinking and techniques in different works. Through comparative analysis, the study emphasizes the diversity and creative exploration of choreography presented in Hamilton and New York Heights, and how it responds to the themes and socio-cultural contexts of the works through different choreographic styles. Taken together, the success of Hamilton provides a useful example of exploring the possibilities of choreography in musical theater, and provides a useful reference for the innovation and development of choreography in musical theater in the future.
