Abstract

摘 要 本研究旨在探討臺灣地區高中音樂班學生對升學選擇之情形,探究其升學選擇之原因,並分析不同背景學生之差異。採問卷調查方法,研究工具為自編「高中音樂班學生在升學選擇的情形及原因」問卷,研究對象為102學年度臺灣地區公私立高中音樂班(科)二、三年級學生,以分層隨機法抽樣769份,回收722份,回收率達93.8%,其中有效卷673份,有效率為93.2%。資料處理分別以次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差與卡方檢定等進行分析。研究結論如下: 壹、臺灣地區高中音樂班學生升學選擇情形仍以考慮升學至音樂相關科系居多;升學選擇非音樂相關者,選擇文組及藝術領域之相關科系之意願較高;而主修成績對 學生在音樂相關科系升學選擇具有顯著差異。 貳、在高中音樂班學生升學選擇原因於個人、家庭、學校及社會四構面,以個人原因當中「個人對音樂的興趣」及「未來的職業及生涯規劃」最為強烈,而學校原因 當中「學校同儕」同意度最低;整體而言,四構面之同意度均為偏向同意之程度; 而不同性別學生於升學選擇原因具有顯著差異。 依據以上結論,研究者對高中音樂班學生、家長、教師、學校及未來研究者提出建 議,以供音樂資優教育輔導策略及未來研究之參考。 關鍵詞:高中音樂班學生、大學升學選擇、生涯發展
Abstract The purpose of this study aimed to investigate the circumstances of college choices of the students in musically talented classes of senior high schools to probe the influential factors and analyzes of the differences between students from different backgrounds. The method of questionnaire survey was utilized. The research instrument was the questionnaire named “A Survey on College Choices of Musically Talented Senior High School Students”. It was distributed to the subjects who were the 2nd and 3rd grade students enrolled in classes for the musically talented in public senior high schools in Taiwan from Sep. 2012 through Jun. 2013. The valid subjects of stratified random sampling were 673 students. Collected questionnaire data were analyzed through statistics of frequency, percentage, standard deviation, mean and chi-square test. The conclusions were as the following: First, a large amount of the students in musically talented classes of senior high schools in Taiwan chose to continue the professional music programs of universities. Students who chose not to continue the professional music programs were greatly willing to study the liberal arts and arts related departments in the future. There was a significant difference of choosing to continue the professional music programs in universities among the grades of their major musical instruments performance. Second, The reasons, including four dimensions from personality, family, school, and society, for the students on college choices were also analyzed. The results showed that students had the highest agreement on “personal interest in music” and “career planning for the future’ in the personal dimension and also had the lowest agreement on “the effect of classmates” in the school dimension. Overall said the four dimensions of the reasons for students choosing colleges all trended to the agreement level. And the gender variables caused a significant difference among them. According to the conclusions, suggestions were given to the students, parents, teachers in musically talented classes of senior high schools along with the future researchers.
