幾何造形應用於漢字美術字之創作研究

Abstract

現今將幾何圖像應用於美術字設計的創作不在少數，但大多著重於設計師個人的自覺與美感型態，因此作品多為設計師自我創作下的產物，故本研究試圖將幾何造形特徵融入於漢字美術字的結構設計並呈現於海報設計上，期為漢字美術字尋求一個新的幾何造形運用可能與契機，並統整歸納幾何造形應用於漢字美術字設計之可能性。 本論透過幾何造形理論、漢字的演變及構成和美術字發展等相關文獻研究，並以KJ法的歸納分析幾何造形應用於漢字美術字的特徵造形，歸納出1. 幾何塊面造形2. 跳脫原有文字結構限制3. 單一元素組合4. 多樣性造形組合5. 虛實空間之暗示6. 文字立體空間化等六種造形創作手法，綜合相關理論，利用研究結果作為漢字美術字創作之方法，本研究結果顯示： 一、 幾何造形特徵能以不同的構成形態應用於漢字美術字。 二、 根據篩選分類出的幾何造形特徵能結合主題理念將其特徵應用於漢字美術字設計上。 三、 將幾何造形特徵應用於漢字美術字上是具有發展潛力的。 四、 透過美術字演化歷程與研究者的美感經驗能將幾何造形特徵更豐富多元地結合至漢字美術字中。Nowadays, there are not a few works applying geometric images in calligraphy design, but most of them focus on designers' self-consciousness and aesthetic style, so most of the works are the products of designers' self-creations, and there is no set of standard design methods or approaches. This research, therefore, attempts to integrate the geometric features into the structural designs of Chinese character typography and present them in the poster design. Seeking new possibilities and opportunities for the application of geometric shapes in the design of Chinese characters and generalizing the possibilities of geometric shapes applying in the designs of Chinese character typography are expected. By means of geometric construction theory, the development and composition of Chinese characters, and the related literatures of fine arts characters as well as the selection and classification of the KJ method, the research methods of this study are to obtain the feature modellings from applying geometric shapes in the design of Chinese characters, to integrate relevant theories, to utilize the research results as the research direction of the subsequent creations of Chinese character typography, and to develop the possibilities of applying geometric construction to the artistic creations of Chinese character typography in the poster designs. Therefore, according to the research purposes and findings, the research results of this study are as follows: 1. The geometric features can be applied to Chinese character typography in different forms. 2. The classified geometric features can be combined with the theme and apply its features into Chinese fine art character designs. 3. The application of geometric features to Chinese character typography is of great potential. 4. Through the evolution of fine art characters and the aesthetic experience of researchers, the geometric features can be more diversified into Chinese character typography.
