Abstract

摘要 本論文主要是在研究骨牌傳遞過程中的骨牌傾倒機制。我們藉由一個以精密可變電阻改良而成的角度測量器來測量骨牌快速倒下以及碰撞過程中的角速度改變情形,進而推算出動能、位能的交替變換以及傳播的狀況。而為了可以精確地收集到可變電阻產生的訊號,我們設計了一個以USB為連接介面的訊號接收器,並開發了與之配合的圖形化操作介面軟體,如此一來即可與角度測量器搭配而順利取得骨牌傾倒過程中傾倒角度隨時間改變情形的數據,進一步分析出骨牌傳遞過程的傾倒機制、碰撞種類以及能量傳遞等資料
Abstract This research aims to analyze the mechanism of the toppling dominoes. In order to measure accurately the changes of angles at which the dominoes rapidly fall and crash into another, we use an angle gauge converted from a precision adjustable resistor. In addition, we design a USB interface circuit along with a graphic user interface to receive signals from the angle gauge and then keep track of them in the computer. Based on the data collected, we can further analyze the mechanism, kinetic energy, and energy transfer of toppling dominoes. We find that the inelasticity of collision between dominoes leads to the loss of total kinetic energy, and thus the potential energy recruits the total kinetic energy
