Abstract
Amid the rapidly evolving landscape of new media, this study investigates how the diverse online development of art influences learners' freedom of choice and the cultivation of aesthetic literacy in contemporary society. By constructing and thoroughly analyzing three specific cases—Chiayi Art Museum, 'Museum of Unexpected Careers,' and the derivative videos and related comments of Can't Help Myself—this research includes interviews with professionals and operators from the first two cases to gain a deeper understanding of the management strategies of artistic content and its online resources. It further examines how these resources provide momentum for the audience's ongoing aesthetic experience and knowledge construction. Through the discussion of case studies and interview content, this study concludes the following: 1. The abundant accumulation of online and offline art resources empowers active audiences to freely choose themes and content that interest them, thereby constructing unique aesthetic experiences. 2. Museums and intermediary platforms, through practices such as appropriation and annotation, transform digital images and videos of artworks into easily readable and appealing recreated texts, which aids in the dissemination of their knowledge and content.3. Some online comments related to artworks can serve as an extension of'dialogue-based viewing,' with the potential to exchange perspectives and enrich the interpretation of the works. 4. The diverse and widely sourced online and offline art resources not only infuse rich momentum and nutrients into the cultivation of personal aesthetic literacy but also promote a virtuous cycle of continuous learning.
