電子音樂動態視覺化設計創作研究

Abstract

人們透過感官接受刺激而形成認知資訊,其中視覺與聽覺兩者比例即占94%,彼此的關係密不可分,聆聽音樂可以帶給人不同的情緒感受,對於音樂的感知則會透過個人的主觀意識與生活經驗,在腦中浮現相對應的視覺畫面,進而讓人感受音樂的情感性與其意象。 近年來,音樂類型的發展蓬勃且多元,在台灣尤以電子音樂成為大眾喜愛的熱門類型,以研究者長期對電子音樂的關注與發現,在電子音樂活動現場會搭配視覺畫面的播放,希望讓閱聽人透過視覺與聽覺的相互刺激得到更多的感官享受。因此本研究欲透過視聽共感覺關係探討電子音樂動態視覺化表現手法與轉換方式,讓音樂與視覺畫面的連結更能貼近閱聽人的感受。 本研究透過文獻探討與問卷調查瞭解電子音樂共感覺,針對2014-2016年DJ Awards得獎者之25首作品,由32位受測者評價最高的四首作為創作樣本。在創作階段則參考問卷結果與心智圖法的使用,分別嘗試以寫實照片拼貼、幾何色塊組合、具象手繪人物線條、抽象電腦向量線條等四種表現手法進行實驗創作,經過作品修正與10位受訪者的作品回饋後,得到創作成果。 由研究與創作的過程中,從多次實驗創作修正而得到的具體創作結論如下:(1)藉由共感覺的問卷調查結果,作為前期創作視覺表現的依據,對於從事主觀創作與嘗試電子音樂動態視覺化設計的創作者是相當有效的的輔具方法;(2)藉由心智圖法的使用,能夠幫助創作者收斂過於發散的創作聯想,讓視覺表現手法與音樂意象之連結關係更為聚焦;(3)藉由不同造形的視覺表現手法,可以表達不同音樂的符號意涵,並能適切的呈現其視覺感受,惟在創作過程須注意視覺與節奏的配合,設計鋪陳不過於雜亂。
People form cognitive information through sensory stimulation, and the ratio of visual and hearing accounted for 94%. The relationship between them is inseparable. Listening to music can bring different emotional feelings, the perception of music will be through the individual's subjective consciousness and life experience, emerges the corresponding visual images in the brain, and then let people feel the emotion and imagery of the music. In recent years, the development of music types has been vigorous and multiplied. In Taiwan, electronic music has become a popular type of music. With the researcher long-term attention of electronic music and discovery, visual images are played at the scene of electronic music activities, hope that the audience through the visual and hearing mutual stimulation to get more sensory enjoyment. Therefore, this study aims to explore the motional visualization performance and transformation of electronic music through the audiovisual synesthesia, so that the connection between music and visual images can be closer to the feelings of the audience. This study explores the audiovisual synesthesia of electronic music through literature review and questionnaire survey. Targeting the 25 works of the DJ Awards winners from 2014 to 2016, the top four was evaluated by 32 survey participants as creative samples. In the creation stage, referring to the results of the questionnaire and the use of the mind mapping method, respectively tries to use the four kinds of visual performance techniques such as realistic photo collage, geometric color block combination, figurative hand-drawn character lines, abstract computer vector lines, and finally get the creation result after repeated modifications and the feedback of the 10 survey participants. From the process of research and creation, the concrete creation conclusions obtained from repeated experimental creation and modifications are as follows: (1) The results of the questionnaire survey, as the basis for the visual performance of the early stage of creation, are quite effective for the creators who are engaged in the subjective creation and attempt to the motional visualization design of electronic music; (2) By using the mind mapping method, it can help creators to converge the creative association that is too divergent, and make the connection between the visual performance technique and the music imagery more focused; (3) Through different forms of visual performances, it is possible to express the symbolic meanings of different music and to present their visual feelings appropriately. However, in the process of creation, must pay attention to the coordination of visual and rhythm, and mind the design layout not being in disorder.
