dc.description.abstract本研究蒐集網路各大單機遊戲平台上,各類以女性為主要角色的遊戲畫面,進行當中女性形象與特徵的分析,透過統計與歸納,從中找出當今玩家在電腦遊戲中可接觸到的女性角色的代表形象,並作為日後開發新的女性角色的參考。本研究蒐集並採計共92件遊戲的女性角色樣本。研究結果顯示,遊戲中女性角色年齡多侷限於19至29歲間;角色的職業皆能找到與之對應的真實社會職業,但職業種類仍相當侷限;遊戲中女性角色的造形,能夠反應真實社會中女性偏好的裝扮,也符合一般大眾對女性形象的理解與期望。女性角色在網頁圖片上負責展售遊戲,在遊戲中則陪伴或成為女性玩家的分身或代言,玩家的自我形象會投影在遊戲的角色上。這些以女性為主角的遊戲的主要玩家群已不在男性,遊戲設計者也已開始重視這塊越來越多女性玩家加入的遊戲市場。日後想投入開發女性遊戲相關類型的設計師,除了應瞭解女性玩家真實的想法及喜好,更應該加入創意開發更多元的產品。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis research examined the feminine characteristics presented by female characters in off-line PC games where the main story character was a female. Through statistical analysis and logical induction of the game snapshots obtainable on the Internet, this research discovered the various feminine images the game characters presented, and the findings of this research could be served as a reference to the future development of female character in off-line PC games. This research collected and assessed a total of 92 illustrations of female game characters. It was discovered that the female game characters were limited to age 19 to 29; and that there was a direct correlation between the job of these characters in the games and in the real world, but the variety of such jobs was still limited. The female game characters were illustrated according to how female was dressed in the real world, which also met the expectations and understandings of the general public. The female game characters were used to sell game products on the producers' websites; and within the actual games these characters accompanied female gamers and became part of them where the gamers can project themselves on these characters. This research found out that the games that employed female as the main characters were not only targeting to male gamers, as the game designers became aware of the increasing number of female players. For future game designers who want to develop games tarting to the female gamers, this research suggested that apart from gaining a better understanding of the psychology of female gamers, creativity in developing more variety games was also a necessity.en_US
