德語「年度非詞」（Unwort des Jahres）之研究：以2020年評選之「遣返照護」（Rückführungspatenschaft）與「新冠專制」（Corona-Diktatur）為例

Abstract

本研究旨於探索德語中「非詞」（Unwort）的概念，以及德國語言批判活動「年度非詞」（Unwort des Jahres），以2020年評選之詞彙——「遣返照護」（Rückführungspatenschaft）與「新冠專制」（Corona-Diktatur）作為研究案例。「非詞」是一種在德語當中，使用於公共議題的用詞。本研究從語言批判發展的歷史、新詞以及社會議題背景，分析「非詞」的涵義。本研究所探討的兩個詞彙，出現於德國在2020年兩個不同的社會議題中。「遣返照護」為一種新的移民遣返政策，由歐盟執委會於2020年9月提出。這一個詞彙，將「遣返」以及「照護」兩個概念重組，在年度非詞評選活動中，被認為是修飾遣返議題的詞彙。2020年，在新冠疫情期間，亦發展出許多相關的新詞彙。「新冠專制」為反對德國政府防疫政策的社會運動中，運用的標語。本研究擬藉由上述兩種不同類型的案例，探討德語當中「非詞」的意義與產生背景。

The main objective of this thesis is to explore the concept of“Unwort”and its related language event“Unwort des Jahres”in Germany. The concept of“Unwort”, which is a specific form in German language, represents terms, that may euphemise, stigmatise, discriminate or mislead a public issue. The concept of“Unwort”is analyzed in the second chapter of this thesis within three perspectives: The historical development of“language criticism”(Sprachkritik) in German language, the creation of German new words or rather the concept of“neologism”(Neologismus), and the selection of the activity“Unwort des Jahres”.In the third and fourth Chapter would further discuss about two selected words, which were chosen as“Unwort”of the year 2020. The term of“Rückführungspatenschaft”refers to a new migration policy, which has been proposed by the European Council in September 2020. The term“Corona-Diktatur”has been often used in social movements, which protested against the government policies for combating the coronavirus disease. Based on these two examples, the thesis explores the cultural and social background of“Unwort”.
