Abstract
本文為作者直接對芬蘭首都赫爾辛基的實地考察，嘗試就地理學訓練背景的學生角度，對於一個都市景觀觀察，提出一個概念性的分析架構。就赫爾辛基都市空間結 構性的意象與社會意涵，將理論內化於經驗的觀察之中：首先，分析赫爾辛基及其支持新空間形式之都會區域的都市地理；再來，作者以辨識一個城市自明性的構 成，及其空間結構所組織的都市意象，描繪赫爾辛基的都市紋理；最後，就二個都市更新的案例所反應的社會空間，以及就三個赫爾辛基的建築景觀評論，試圖解釋 並理解赫爾辛基城市社會與空間文化內涵。
This paper is based on my on-site investigation and observation in the Finland’s capital, Helsinki, to tentatively propose an analytical framework by the perspective of urban geography students for scrutinizing an urban landscape. By definition of urban spatial structure and social meaning of Helsinki, this paper launches from urban geography of Helsinki and its supported metropolitan region in new formation of spatial structure in information age. Then, this paper elaborates the identity of Helsinki, based on its city image to draw out the various and vibrant Helsinki city textures. Finally, two case studies of urban regeneration reflect on the social spaces, and three cases of critiques on landscape architecture show the meanings of social space and the contexts of spatial culture of Helsinki.
