Abstract
In history, we can see that “bird-flower-painting” has gone through thousands of years, from the initial workmanship, realism to freehand brushwork, and the content expressed has changed at different times. Since the development of bird-flower-painting, no matter whether it is a political, environmental or humanistic theme, everyone can express their emotions with pen and ink and sway on the paper. The author has been engaged in children's education for more than 30 years, and has seen changes in generations, changes in the overall environment, and electronic products that have changed everyone's habits. People have moved away from nature, and have given their lives to computers, televisions, and mobile phones, causing myopia and short-sightedness of children. They have lost the opportunity to contact with nature and the fun of intimate interaction with nature. I have been studying painting over 30 years, and I often go to sketch outdoors and get close to nature. There are countless treasures in nature for us to discuss. In this artistic creation, the author uses squirrels as a "metaphor", expressing that our next generation can return to "naive" and enjoy “the fascinating nature" in. In this thesis, The author divides the discussion into five chapters: The first chapter is an introduction, explaining the research motivation, purpose, content scope and research method. The second chapter explains the reasons for the progress and change of flower and bird paintings, and discusses the “painting presentation", "ideal environment" and ""sublimity" of “bird-flower-painting”. In Chapter 3, the author uses "Nature" as a starting point to explore the relationship between tradition and innovation, and taking squirrels as an example to explore the different stages of innovation between traditional bird-flower-painting and contemporary bird-flower-painting. In Chapter 4, the author introduces how the author was inspired by the development of psychology, and created three series of paintings of "Childhood", "Mature" and "Return to True”. Chapter 5 concludes that the content includes the reflection on art creation and future prospects.
