Abstract

本研究旨在調查並研究國中學生的科學興趣、學科興趣、興趣變化趨勢、科學興趣與科學學習成就的相關、以及影響科學興趣的相關原因。研究對象為北部某都會型國中的學生,經問卷調查法,蒐集到有效國中學生樣本320份。問卷資料進行t考驗、單因子變異數分析、及皮爾森積差相關分析,再輔以晤談探究原因,其主要研究發現如下: 一、國中學生對科學有中等程度的興趣,其興趣程度會因性別、年齡、以及科學學習成就的不同而有所差異。 二、就性別而言,國中各年級的男生之科學興趣顯著高於女生。 三、就年級而言,七年級學生的科學興趣得分顯著高於八年級與九年級的學生,整體科學興趣變化趨勢隨著年齡的增加而降低。 四、就科學學習成就而言,科學學習成就「高」分組學生的科學興趣得分顯著高於科學學習成就「中」分組學生;科學學習成就「中」分組學生的科學興趣得分顯著高於科學學習成就「低」分組學生。 五、整體學生的科學學習成就與科學興趣各向度分數之間的相關性會隨著年齡升高而增加。 六、在八大學科的學習興趣部分,國文科與藝文科在興趣問卷的分數隨年齡增加而顯著上升,數學科與自然科在興趣問卷的分數隨年齡增加而顯著下降。在性別方面,男生在數學、自然、健體得分顯著高於女生,女生則是在國文、英語、藝文、綜合得分顯著高於男生,在社會科方面,男女則無顯著差異。科學學習成就低、中、高分組的學生,對自然科的評價得分在後測時皆顯著下降,數學科的評價得分則在科學學習成就低分組及高分組達顯著下降。 本研究依據研究結果,針對研究設計、教學實務等方面提出建議以供參考。
The purpose of this study was to investigate scientific interest, the changes of the scientific interest, and the correlation between scientific interest and scientific learning achievements of students in a junior high school in Taipei. The questionnaire method was used in this study. There were 320 valid samples of junior high school students, and the data were obtained through self-designed scales. The obtained data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The main findings of this research were as follows: 1. Junior high school students have moderate degree of scientific interest. 2. There are differences of scientific interest among gender, grade, and scientific learning achievements. 3. Students who are male, or of lower grade, or with better scientific learning achievements have higher degree of scientific interest. 4. There is correlation between students’ scientific interest and scientific learning achievements. 5. Male students have higher degree of interest in mathematics, science, health, and physical education than female students. Female students have higher degree of interest in Chinese, English, music, and arts than male students. Recommendations for teachers and future research were discussed based on the results.
