In recent years, to cope with a rapidly changing environment, organizations have inadvertently put pressure on employees and affected their mental health. This study aims to explore the relationship among music engagement, psychological well-being, and psychological capital, music engagement is considered an effective means of regulating emotions and assisting employees to reduce work-related stress, in addition to indicating that people with positive emotional states and attitudes are more likely to interpret positive mental states actively, thereby developing positive mental health. This study explains the impact of psychological capital on music engagement and employees’ psychological well-being through the theory of emotion regulation. A quantitative approach and an on-line questionnaire are applied in this study. Data was collected from 236 participants who are employees of high-tech industries in Taiwan. SEM by AMOS 22.0 is used to verify the hypothesis results and to run the confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive, reliability, Pearson correlation analysis. Overall, this study confirmed the effect of music engagement for obtaining psychological well-being while mediated by psychological capital.
