父母對幼兒品格行為的意見調查研究 The Study of Parents’ Opinions on Young Children’s Character Behavior

dc.description.abstract 因現今社會社會問題層出不窮,對於幼兒品格教育的要求甚囂塵上,研究希望藉由問卷統計方式,於一Ο三年九月十五日發放705份問卷,包含臺北市中正區、萬華區、南港區、北投區、士林區。每一行政區各抽取一所公立幼兒園,僅以421位家長作為研究對象分析。 希冀能夠瞭解父母心中對於尊重、負責、公平、可信賴、關懷、公民責任等六項品格的重要性的看法,以及瞭解現今父母對於幼兒品格行為的觀察,並探討不同背景因素,父母對於幼兒品格行為的意見差異,以及探討父母對幼兒品格行為重要性看法與幼兒實際表現的關聯。 研究結果顯示:(一)父母認為六項幼兒品格皆重要;(二)父母最常關注幼兒公民責任的展現;(三)父母對女生的關懷品格行為表現期望高於男生;(四)父母對於不同年齡幼兒的品格意見並無顯著差異;(五)父母對於幼兒品格行為的意見相同;(六)不同社經地位的父母對於幼兒品格行為重視程度有差異;(七)父母對幼兒品格重要性的意見與幼兒品格行為表現成正相關。 研究結論為:(一)品格教育深受現今學齡前幼兒父母重視;(二)對於幼兒品格行為仍需要一致的目標與標準;(三)父母對於幼兒品格行為養成應要知行合一。研究的建議為:(一)應提升父母品格教育的知能與在家施行的能力;(二)應建立一致性的品格德目與相符的品格課程;(三)應利用多元研究進一步探討品格行為的意見。 zh_TW
dc.description.abstract Due to the rise of diversified problems in modern society, there is a greater expectation on a child’s character development. The data collection method of this study was questionnaires: 705 questionnaires were given out in Zhongzheng District, Wanhau District, Nangang District, Beitou District, and Shilin District on 15 September 2013. One kindergarten in each district was selected, and 421 people were set as subjects of analysis. This study aimed to investigate parents' insight on the importance of character traits – respect, responsibility, fairness, trustworthiness, caring and citizenship – and to analyse the relationships between parents’ backgrounds, their opinions on children’s character-related behaviours, their emphasis on children’s character-related behaviours, and the actual performance of the children. The findings of this study can assist the implementation of relevant policy and the design of kindergarten curriculum as a reference, in order to enhance the effectiveness of character development. The findings demonstrated that: (1) Parents believed that all 6 traits were important; (2) Parents paid attention to child’s citizenship the most; (3) Parents held the same view on the character of children of different genders; (4) Parents held the same view on the character of children of different ages; (5) The view on children’s character-related behaviours between parents held no significant difference; (6) Parents of different socio-economical statuses held slight different views on the importance of character-related behaviours, and; (7) Parents believed that the importance of children’s character and children’s actual performance were positively proportional. The conclusions were: (1) Parents believed that character development is a cross-gender, cross-age universal value; (2) There is still a need to establish consistent goals and standard for children’s character-related behaviours, and; (3) Parents should place a stronger emphasis on the character development of their children, and be their role models. This research suggests that: (1) Parents’ knowledge and ability of delivering character development at home should be improved; (2) Consistent goals and relevant curriculum should be established for character development, and; (3) Diverse studies should be applied to further explore views on character-related behaviours. en_US
