擬物化應用於台灣社會現象之插畫創作研究

Abstract

擬物化在文學表現方面的功能主要是改變一陳不變的句子模式，利用暗喻或詞彙的轉換來代替原先指涉的人物轉移至事物上，是文學表現的重要手法之一，而在藝術與設計的領域中較少運用擬物化的詞彙。擬物化的表現形式在於「物」，而要表達的內容是「人」，而人的習性與思維皆是基於歷史的推演以及社會的形塑產生，在台灣的社會因為經濟發展、媒體開放、民主思潮…等等因素的積累下，呈現出許多特殊的人文面貌，深深地影響著台灣人民的生活，有鑒於此，本研究藉由「擬物化」的手法結合插畫的形式來詮釋台灣諸多負面的社會現象，目的在於探討當今台灣較為廣而深的社會議題，以視覺創作的型態，達到警世的作用。在研究方法上，以文獻分析修辭與符號的關聯性，並從社會學的角度探討台灣社會現象的形成及影響，再根據媒體的調查結果，篩選出廣為注目的台灣社會議題，並據此為創作的內容使用案例分析法，參酌擬物化代表性插畫家作品的成功因素，建構擬物化視覺創作的目標。在創作實證方面，以趨光性昆蟲、海洋與陸地哺乳類動物為載體，隱喻台灣的媒體、交通、職場等社會現象，創作出3系列計有15件的插畫作品。最後獲致結論如下：一、擬物化的創作表現，可避免陳腔濫調，吸引觀者注目；二、擬物化的角色創造，可吸引人對議題產生情感的映照與投射；三、以擬物法視覺表現手法凸顯台灣社會現象的問題，具有反思效果。The function of Chremamorphism in literary is mainly to change the unchanging sentence patterns. It is one of the most important ways of literary to use metaphor or the transformation of words instead of the original characters to the thing. The design of the field less use of the proposed materialized vocabulary. Chremamorphism takes the form of a thing, and the content to be expressed is human. Human habits and thinking are based on historical deductions and social formation. In Taiwan, for its economic development, media openness, the trend of democracy, and so forth, showing many special humanistic features that deeply affect the lives of Taiwanese people. In view of this, this study uses the form of Chremamorphism and illustration to interpret many of Taiwan's negative social phenomena. The purpose is to explore the broader and deeper social issues in present-day Taiwan and achieve a wake-up call in the form of visual creation. In terms of research methods, we analyze the correlation between rhetoric and symbols in the literature and explore the formation and impact of social phenomena in Taiwan from a sociological point of view. According to the findings of the media, we can screen a wide range of social issues in Taiwan. For the content of creation, the author takes into account the success factors of the representative illustrator's works to be materialized and constructs the goal of the pseudo-materialized visual creation. In terms of creative evidence, phototropism insects, marine, and terrestrial mammals are used as a metaphor for social phenomena in Taiwan such as the media, transportation, and workplaces, creating 3 series of 15 illustrated works. Finally, the conclusions are as follows: First, the performance of Chremamorphism can avoid stereotypes and attract the attention of the viewer; Second, the creation of Chremamorphism characters can attract the reflection and projection of emotion on the topic; Third, Highlight the social phenomenon in Taiwan, with reflective effect.
