Abstract

本研究旨在瞭解影響我國航海業女性從業人員職涯發展之相關因素,採質化研究中的多重個案研究法,以訪談方式瞭解個案於海上工作之狀況及其職涯發展之相關因素,歸納出本研究結果。研究過程共訪談航海業八位女性船副,訪談後將訪談內容轉錄為逐字稿,並進行資料的分析。研究結果發現,航海業女性從業人員之人格特質多為獨立堅強,且具相當圓滑成熟的人際關係,在海上的工作體驗大致良好無虞且適應力強,但在其先天的生理仍有不可克服之特質,因此船上之工作設備和生活環境需要更適合女性的設計。而學以致用為女性航海人員主要之從業動機,其職涯選擇會受社會價值觀影響,職涯發展則是深受性別職業刻板印象左右,而對於工作跑道的發展與轉換各人多有不同的想法與思維。
The purpose of this study was to explore career development and its influencing factors of Taiwan's women employees in seafaring. With the multiple cases of qualitative research, the data was collected from the interviews. The researcher interviewed Seafaring eight Boat female deputy. After the interviews, the content was transcribed from the tape to word processor files and analyzed. In Conclusion, the personality for seafaring women employees belong to the independent with smooth interpersonal relationships. They are able to work at sea and have good adaptability, but they still have some physical characteristics which are hardly overcoming. As a result, the design of working equipment with environment should be fitted with women. And the main motivation for female mariners is to apply their knowledge, that is, their career choice is easily affected either by the social value or by sex occupational stereotype, not to mention the various thinking for each person in the career planning.
