Abstract
在傳教中,語言是最重要的工具。傳教士將福音傳遞給尚未信仰的人群, 說服未信者,為了說服他們,必須了解當地的文化和語言。若傳教士不熟悉當 地語言,就無法有效地傳揚福音。因此,掌握當地語言應該是傳教的首要任 務。然而,目前關於幫助傳教士學習專業華語之教材與研究非常有限。根據本 研究需求調查結果顯示,大多數韓籍傳教士沒有接受過傳教所需的專業華語訓 練,而是透過自學的方式來學習傳教相關的華語知識。因此,本研究目的在於 針對傳教為目的來台的韓籍傳教士編寫傳教華語教材。為實現研究目的,採用問卷調查法和文獻資料分析法。首先,以目前在台 灣從事傳教的 42 位韓籍傳教士作為研究對象,調查了對傳教華語教材的需求。 其次,對在韓國出版的三本傳教華語相關教材進行分析,蒐集現有教材的優點 和不足之處。根據研究結果,本教材以初中級學習者做為教材適用對象,選取 他們最關心的主題來設計共十課的教材架構,並以中文敬拜讚美為主題實際編 寫出一課完整範例,進行了教材評估並獲得了學習者的回饋。最後,提出了本 研究所具有的侷限性,希望今後以本研究為起點,積極開展傳教士的傳教漢語 相關研究。
In missionary work, language is the most crucial tool. Missionaries deliver the gospel to non-believers and persuade them to believe, but to accomplish this, they must understand the local culture and language. Without proficiency in the local language, missionaries cannot effectively communicate the gospel. Therefore, mastering the local language should be the primary task of missionaries. However, there is currently limited research and teaching materials available to assist missionaries in learning specialized Mandarin Chinese for their missionary work. According to the findings of a needs assessment conducted for this research, most Korean missionaries who come to Taiwan for missionary purposes have not received professional training in Mandarin Chinese for missionary work. Instead, they rely on self-study to acquire Mandarin Chinese knowledge relevant to their mission. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials specifically tailored for Korean missionaries in Taiwan, focusing on missionary-oriented Mandarin Chinese.To achieve the research objective, a documentary analysis and questionnaire survey were conducted. Firstly, relevant literature on Mandarin Chinese learning for missionaries, principles of teaching material development, and evaluation criteria were analyzed to understand the background and current status of Mandarin Chinese learning among missionaries. This helped derive the principles for developing specialized Mandarin Chinese teaching materials for this research. Secondly, three existing missionary-oriented Mandarin Chinese textbooks published in Korea were analyzed to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Subsequently, a survey was conducted with 42 Korean missionaries currently engaged in missionary work in Taiwan to assess their needs for missionary-oriented Mandarin Chinese teaching materials.Based on the research findings, the developed teaching materials targeted intermediate-level learners. The materials were structured around ten lessons, designed to address topics of primary interest to Korean missionaries. An entire lesson example focusing on Chinese worship and praise was created, and the teaching materials were evaluated and received feedback from learners. Finally, limitations of this research were discussed, and it is hoped that future research will build upon this study to actively explore Mandarin Chinese learning for missionaries.
