聽障學習者資訊需求與資訊尋求行為之研究

Abstract
圖書館無論是在人員方面、館藏部分或是服務提供上,應該多了解聽障學習者的困擾,盡可能地消弭在使用圖書館時因聽力障礙所產生的不便,進而在適當的時機提供適當的資源與服務給所需的使用者。
本研究主要探討聽障者的資訊需求及資訊尋求行為,並了解聽障者使用圖書館的模式與遇到的困難,可進一步探討圖書館所提供的服務是否符合聽障者所需,以及圖書館可以如何改善其對聽障者的服務。
研究訪談問題所涉及的層面為資訊尋求以及圖書館服務二大層面,透過訪問方式由受訪者來做開放式的回應,主要問題為:一、資訊需求。二、資訊尋求。三、圖書館使用模式。四、圖書館服務。
根據本研究訪談結果顯示,聽障學習者的資訊需求與一般人沒有太大的差異,仍包括一般性與專業性需求;而在資訊尋求方面,雖然網路資源和電子資源逐漸日益重要,但是紙本資源仍不失其重要性。在圖書館的使用上仍有其不便之處。
Whether personality, holdings, or services in the library, librarians should understand more about the hearing-impaired learners’ troubles. And then eliminate the unconvinced caused by poor listening when they use libraries. Further, librarians provide adequate resources and service to suitable users in appropriate time. The purpose of study was to explore the information needs and seeking behavior of the hearing-impaired learners, whether the service provided by library suit the needs or not, and how improve services provided by library to hearing-impaired learners. The study interview has two levels which including information seeking behavior and library service, and answered by respondents. First, information needs. Second, information seeking. Third, library using model. Forth, library service. According to the study, hearing-impaired learners’ information needs are concluding general and professional, which are similar to normal person. In the information seeking, internet resources and e-resources are become more and more popular, however, the printed-resources is still important. The hearing-impaired learners have their difficult when they use library.
