dc.description.abstract | Looking back at the current domestic literature, most of the studies discussing issues related to leaders focus on companies, organizations, or school institutions, etc., and the part that focuses on leadership behavior also interprets the subject's personality traits and leadership awareness. There is less discussion on the field of senior planting and learning. With the increasing number of elderly people and retirees, taking care of the physical and mental health of the elderly has become a major issue. In urban areas that lack healthy food sources, the advocacy of senior planting activities has become more meaningful and important. This study uses case study method, supplemented by in-depth interviews and participant observations. Through intentional sampling, four cases are selected as the leaders and founders of 55-year-old senior planting learning groups, and the groups they belong to. The core leader is supplemented as a supplement to representative cases. Through case studies, we explore their backgrounds, participation motivation, and leadership styles and processes as planting leaders. We look forward to providing references for relevant communities and organizations to enhance the operation and development of senior planting learning groups, and to provide opportunities for the elderly to have their full potential to jointly create social value. After text analysis and in-depth interview analysis, the findings of this study are summarized as below:1. The experience of planting in childhood can help the elderly embark on the road of planting, and can be properly cultivated to become a new force.2. Participation motivation is divided into career, interest, and food safety, and altruistic motivation has a positive impact on members.3. Planting background and altruistic motivation have a positive impact on leadership persistence and resilience. 4. The primary group activities are mainly internal, while the advanced group activities are aimed at external publicity, leading everyone to grow together. 5. The leadership style of each group has different applications at different stages, vision and cooperation are the key. 6. Retirement, no financial pressure, and family support are the conditions for altruistic self-realization of senior plant leaders. | en_US |
