世界名畫融入英語教學之課程設計探討

Abstract
本研究旨在探討一零八課綱之跨領域課程教學設計,應用於視覺藝術領域(世界名畫)融合在英語教學課程中,是否能提升研究樣本之學習動機與學習成效。研究期程共實行二十週,課程設計的方面依循期中、期末考切割為兩階段,階段一的研究結果發現:課程B學習動機與學習成效未達提升。研究者修正、重新設計課程後,階段二的研究結果發現:課程B的學習成效提高,標準差縮小,對課程的滿意度超過均值。
研究結論:世界名畫融入英語教學對於學習動機與學習成效的提升有幫助。
The aim of the study is to probe how Curriculum Guidelines of 12-Year Basic Education carried out in intergrated curriculums. By bringing masterpiece paintings into English lessons, researcher attempted to boost students’ learning motivation and outcome. The experiment last 20 weeks, including two phases of study. The findings of the first phase is that the experimental group didn’t raise either learning motivation nor performance. To achieve the purposes, researcher redesign the lessons, and the second phase of the study shows the results are: The experimental group raised their learning motivation and performance. The experimental group was satisfied with the lessons. Based on the findings, the researcher made a conclusion that paintings applicate in English teaching is helpful in learning motivation and performance.
