Abstract

本研究旨在探究當一位體育初任教師甫進入到學校組織的角色適應過程,以及在這過程中的重要想法、經歷與議題。採用R. K. Yin所提的個案研究 (case study) 為方法以Strauss與Corbin之紮根理論中的開放性編碼 (open coding) 技術做為解釋文本之資料處理方式。最後,透過資料整理與分析,綜整出本研究個案教師之結論:(一)直接造成體育初任教師角色適應的困擾要素有學生、家長、同事等三項要素;(二)學校組織氣氛是間接影響體育初任教師角色適應要素之一;(三)影響體育初任教師角色適應歷程的重要要素是體育教師自我的教師角色認定;(四)促使體育初任教師進行角色調適必須有相當大的外在支持環境與要素;(五)體育初任教師採取主動角色調適策略,保有自我角色認定,取得自我角色與環境要求間的平衡,最後順應在學校組織中。
The present study aimed to investigate the process of role-adaptation of a beginning physical educator who just entry into a new school and his ideas, experiences and related issues during the period of role-adaptation. This study adopted R. K. Yin’s case study method, and the collected data was analyzed by the technique of open coding of grounded theory. This study concluded that: (1) the students, the parents and the colleagues were the three elements that directly caused the persecution of the beginning physical educator’s role-adaptation; (2) the climate of school organization was one of the indirect factor which affected the beginning physical teacher’s role-adaptation; (3) the beginning physical educator’s role identity as a primary element affected the process of role-adaptation; (4) it is needed for the beginning physical educator to provide external environment and support elements to assist him in proceed the role adjustment; (5) by adopting the active role adjustment strategies, the beginning physical educator maintained the role identity of himself, kept the equilibrium of the requirements of his role and the environment, and finally accommodated himself to the school organization.
