Abstract
This paper explores the sense of fatigue that emerges in a society where thoughts and rhythms are increasingly homogenized, exacerbated by the advancing pace of technology. It delves into the digital experiential experiences immersed in film and video game texts, examining the psychological states of viewers when engaging with media texts, and the process by which subjects construct imaginative spaces through symbols that resonate with reality. In creative research, the paper employs techniques of paper collage and weaving to echo the subject's intermingling of reality and illusion, converging the concepts of covering and overlapping in collage to construct a detached space. Based on this theoretical foundation and creative approach, the author responds to the sense of withdrawal from the world. The paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter One is an introduction, outlining the motivation and purpose of the work, research content and methods, research scope and limitations, and terminology explanations. Chapter Two focuses on therealm of escapism co-constructed by media texts and viewers, exploring factors of escaping reality, the virtual imaginative space created by texts, and the construction of realms. Chapter Three discusses creative concepts and expressions, based on the author's own creative consciousness and the theoretical research of the previous chapter, covering creative concepts, techniques, and processes. Chapter Four details creative practices, with the author responding to the discourse of this study through two series of creations. Chapter Five is the conclusion, integrating research findings and outlining future prospects.
