高中圖書館利用教育需求之研究–以新竹縣湖口高中為例

Abstract
本研究主要目的在探討高中生圖書館利用教育學習內容及實施方式的需求,並分析不同背景學生在利用教育需求程度上的差異。研究方法採用文獻分析法、問卷調查法及訪談法,進行資料的蒐集、分析與詮釋。研究對象為新竹縣立湖口高中學生,先以問卷調查法普查新竹縣湖口高中全體學生,共計發出問卷530份,回收有效問卷474份,以分析學生圖書館利用教育需求與需求程度,再根據背景因素作變異數分析,進而比較不同背景學生需求差異情形,並透過訪談法,訪問湖口高中共12名學生,瞭解圖書館利用教育對他們在課業、生活上的影響,從中探究學生對利用教育的需求。
經問卷調查分析後顯示,學生在利用教育學習內容方面,需求最高的是如何準備多元入學備審資料及如何搜尋網路資訊,最低的是圖書館使用手冊及期刊檢索策略與操作;在實施方式需求最高的是各班安排圖書館時間及透過電腦網路與讀者雙向溝通,最低則是印發手冊及資料、出版館刊/館訊。
學生背景差異性比較發現,在利用教育學習內容方面:1、性別對資訊倫理與安全教育、報告撰寫的需求影響較顯大。2、年級別對電腦軟體與媒體資源、報告撰寫的需求影響較顯著。3、科別對學習內容各方面的需求影響都非常顯著。4、利用教育實施方式則以學生科別對需求的影響最大。
根據研究結果,提出下列建議:

The purpose of this research is to study the demand for learning contents and implementation method of library user education for senior high school students, and also to analyze the difference of demand degree for user education for students of different backgrounds. The study methods adopt literature analysis, questionnaire, and interview to proceed with data collection, analysis and illustration. The targets of this research are the students of Hu-Ko Senior High School, Hsinchu County. Firstly, via questionnaire survey method, all the students of Hu-Ko Senior High School, Hsinchu County are covered. Totally 530 sheets of questionnaire were issued and 474 effective sheets were returned. These are used to analyze the demand for library user education for students and their demand degree. Secondly, analysis of variance is done based on their background factors to compare the demand difference status for students of different backgrounds. Also, via interview method, 12 Hu-Ko Senior High School students were interviewed to understand the influence of library user education on their academic performance and living. From these methods, we find out students’ demand for user education. After analyzing the questionnaire sheets, we found the following. In regard to the learning contents of user education for students, the highest demand is how to prepare the auditing data for multiple entrance program and how to seek for network information, and the lowest demand is the library usage manual and periodicals indexing strategy& operation. In regard to the demand of implementation method, the highest demand is the schedule of using library for each class and two-way communication with readers via computer network, and the lowest demand is the printing & issuing of manuals, data and publication of library periodicals & information. Comparing the differences of students’ background, we found the following. In regard to the learning contents of user education, 1) Sex has an obvious influence on the demand of information ethics, safety education and report writing, 2) Class category has the more obvious influence on the demand of computer software, media information and report writing, 3) Department category has a very obvious influence on the demand of each aspect of learning contents, and 4) in regard to implementation method for user education, students’ department category has the biggest influence on demand. Based on the above mentioned study outcome, following suggestions are proposed. 1. Suggestions to raise the effectiveness of user education for senior high schools’ libraries. (1) Suggestions to senior high schools’ libraries. (2) Suggestions to schools (3) Suggestions to education authority 2.
