Abstract

This creative research" Living Love " elucidates the author's personal experiences of life and emotions, transcending the limitations of language and textual interpretation. Through the symbiotic relationship between Chinese characters and imagery, the character for "love" is traced back to its pictorial origins and expanded into organic visual creations. This work redefines and understands the essence of love as the emotional perception generated through continuous learning and growth in our interaction with the world from birth. This creative discourse builds upon the study of semiotics, existentialism, and analyzing the creative ideas of artists from East and West, this research establishes a theoretical foundation for artistic creation. Focusing on reduction printmaking, the author explores emotional expression and connections. The "Desire" series conveys the enormity of emotions through plural forms of printmaking, while the "Flesh" series examines the existence relationship between plate and image, symbolizing the flow and coexistence of energy. Through complex processes and reduction printmaking techniques, the energy circulation and image reproduction parallel the complex presentation of human emotions, reflecting the intricate connections between body, self, others, society, and the world.By blending content and form through painting and printmaking, personal feelings are transformed into tangible images. This process facilitates a deeper understanding of oneself, a discovery of a unique artistic language, and lays the foundation for future creations and further exploration.
