《黑暗精靈》之角色與場景創作研究-以中國風格之特徵運用為例

Abstract

東西文化的結合往往能造成視覺上的新鮮感,就韓國的遊戲「天堂」與「龍族」為例,「天堂」能成功進入西方市場的原因正是東西文化合併的結果。因此研究的出發點,以西方市場佔有一席之地的奇幻文學《黑暗精靈》作為創作背景、以中國文化的象徵符號為創作題材,嘗試以顛覆性傳統的觀點導入中國奇幻藝術,並對中西文化的結合做實驗性探討,以期創造出新穎的中國奇幻藝術。在創作方法方面針對故事中角色的內在特質與特徵,透過奇幻異想為思考邏輯的方式,先畫出合適於角色的造型構想,過程中須同時兼顧中國文化的象徵表現,最後再以Poser軟體做動作輔助參考。由實證成果中發現,中國以往的傳統印象與創作的思考邏輯明顯被改變,不過前提必須先熟悉中國風格的特色,才有助於創作的順利,目前就中國關聯性最強的紋飾、服飾與建築等形制做分析整理,並在創作理念說明使用元素的特性與目的。依據本研究的方法,奇幻的創作不僅可用於常見的印刷品、遊戲、電影等,也可以運用在戶外公共藝術、隧道、天橋、櫥窗、建築物、造景、遊樂園、教學、光藝術、人體彩繪、吧台、露景、交通工具…等,更可從中再得到其他靈感。
The combination of the culture of the eastern and western countries often causes the feeling of freshness on the vision, "Dragonraja "and "Lineage ", the most popular games in Korea, are the successful examples. The main reason why the ' Lineage ' can succeed in entering the western market is exactly the result of combination of the eastern and western countries. So When I was thinking about the starting point of my research, I tended to create a brand new Chinese magical art, applied " Dark Elf " idea, one of the important role of fantasy literature in the western market, as background concept of my creation, compared the western and eastern cultures and studied for new solutions, and tried to reverse the old traditional Chinese view point and guide into the new Chinese magical art. In this creating method, I focused on the characteristic present, supported by the thinking philosophy of fantasy magical art, and then started to draw the suitable characters for my story. The creating process needed to balance the magical art concept and Chinese culture present and finally used software “Poster” to complete the auxiliary motions. According to a serious of examinational results found that the old traditional image and thinking philosophy were changed obviously. But before creating Chinese magical art, it is an important prerequisite to be familiar with the characteristic of Chinese style art. Based on the strongest related tattoos, decorations, dresses and buildings, etc. in Chinese culture, in my research, I analyzed and categorized all shapes and elements of Chinese symbols and applied on creating concept with detailed description for the characteristic of symbol elements. According to this research method, I found the magical creation not limited on common demonstration materials, games, films, etc., it can also be used on outdoor public art, tunnels, overpass bridges, show windows, buildings, building scene, amusement parks, teaching, mere art, body painting, bar counter, revealing the scene, means of transportation, etc., also can get more inspiration from it and apply on other field.
