以眼動儀分析汽車修護手冊圖文排版閱讀習慣與效益研究−以技術型高中學生為例

Abstract

本研究旨在探討以眼動儀分析汽車修護手冊圖文排版閱讀習慣與效益研究。本研究先前參考多數相關眼動儀與圖文排版研究做一個質性的討論探討與延伸,設計了一個針對左右圖文排版分析其效益並結合車輛教育相關之研究的過程,研究對象鎖定北部一所技術型高中三年級日間部 66位學生進行相關實驗,其學生皆擁有勞動部汽車丙級檢定之基本操作能力與認知,透過使用眼動儀儀器觀看車輛修護手冊,實驗共進行了 66 次施測,並剔除未完成故障排除的 4 次施測,收集共 62 次施測實驗數據與車輛修護手冊眼動與文獻相互分析相關結果。經過相關實驗與調查發現,多數學生在閱讀車輛修護手冊時大部分習慣「圖右文左」的排版方式,並在閱讀時眼球的移動軌跡上發現多數學生習慣先看圖在看文,其閱讀之習慣與質性文獻結果相同;學生在閱讀完「圖右文左」排版模式的修護手冊後操作正確性較高,並在閱讀時間與操作時間上,都發現「圖右文左」的排版模式的閱讀效益與操作時間上都優於「圖左文右」排版模式,且統計上達到顯著差異。此研究將有助於未來相關在訓練技術型高中學生或車輛專業從業人員,未來在專業相關教材的設計上可以更加精準,在閱讀上可以有更大的效益。
The purpose of this research is to explore the reading habits and benefits of using eye trackers to analyze the graphic layout of automobile maintenance manuals. Previously, this research made a qualitative discussion and extension with reference to most related eye tracker and graphic layout research, and designed a process of analyzing the benefits of left and right graphic layouts and combining research related to vehicle education. The 66 students in the third grade day department of the technical high school conducted related experiments. All the students possessed the basic operating ability and cognition of the Ministry of Labor's Class C automobile certification. The technical high school students are asked to watch the vehicle maintenance manual by using the eye tracker. A total of 66 measurements were carried out, and the unfinished 4 measurements were eliminated. A total of 62 measurements were collected and the results of the eye movement and literature correlation analysis were collected. After relevant experimental results, it is found that when most technical high school students read the vehicle maintenance manual, most of the students are accustomed to the text mode of the right side of the picture and the left side. The results of qualitative documents are the same; in both reading time and operation time, it is found that the reading time of the text mode on the right and the left of the picture is better than that of the text mode on the left and the right of the picture, and both have statistically significant differences.This research will help train technical high school students or vehicle professionals in the future. In the future, the design of professional related textbooks can be more accurate, and there can be more benefits in reading, because whether it is vehicle-related technical jobs Education or professional vehicle training should do more.
