Abstract:   一直以來,印刷、造紙業皆為環保署列管的高污染行業,其中除溶劑和油墨為印刷業最大的污染源外,造紙過程中也會產生大量廢水,而且紙漿的原料來自於寶貴森林資源,亦造成生態的破壞。近十幾年來,隨著科技的發達,各種再生紙、電腦直接製版、環保油墨等環保原物料陸續推出,若能將上述的環保原物料相互配合使用,相信將能帶來更多的環保效益。   因此,本研究主要以環保為訴求,探討植物油墨和黃豆油墨等兩種植物油墨,以及新荷100再生紙、新荷500再生紙及全木道林紙等三種不同成份紙張組合間之各種印刷品質特性差異,期能建立兼顧環保與品質的最佳組合,結果將提供印刷相關產業,以作為在選擇植物油墨與再生紙組合時之參考依據,進而提高印刷業形象,為全球的環境保護盡一份心力。   本研究採用真實驗研究法為本質,針對兩種植物油墨印製在三種紙張上,並配合業界公認最環保的熱感式CTP版材,透過平版印刷機的實驗驗證,每種組合各印製100張樣本,再以系統抽樣方式各抽取40張樣本,最後以X-Rite530反射式分光密度儀來量測滿版濃度、網點擴大、印刷對比、疊印能力、色相差和灰度值等六種品質特性數據,並使用SPSS 12.0統計軟體之描述性統計、獨立樣本T檢定及單因子變異數分析等統計方法,檢驗各種環保材料組合之印刷品在各品質特性上的差異是否顯著。   經實驗結果得知:   1. 油墨方面,植物油墨的整體表現優於黃豆油墨。   2. 紙張方面,三種紙張在不同品質特性的表現各有優劣。新荷100再生    紙在10%網點擴大、25%網點擴大、75%網點擴大及疊印能力的表現較    優;新荷500再生紙在50%網點擴大、90%網點擴大及印刷對比的表現    較優;而全木道林紙則是在滿版濃度、色相差及灰度值的表現較優。
 Printing and papermaking have always been high-pollution industries regulated by the Environmental Protection Administration in Taiwan. In the printing industry, solvent and ink are the primary pollutants; in the papermaking industry, forest consumption for pulp and mass production of waste water in the papermaking process account for the destruction of the ecosystem. Fortunately, with the introduction of eco-friendly materials and the development of technologies during recent decades, such as recycled paper, environmentally-friendly ink, and computer to plate (CTP) application, more eco-friendly benefits will be obtained in the future if these materials and technologies can be effectively combined.  This study, from the perspective of environmental protection, aims to distinguish the print qualities among the combinations of two vegetable inks: bio-ink and soy ink, in conjunction with Neo Lotus 100 recycled paper, Neo Lotus 500 recycled paper, and wood-free paper. The results will be provided for printing-related industries as a reference for selecting appropriate environmental ink and recycled paper. By finding the best combination that favors both the environment and print quality, we hope to help the printing industry improve its image and make a contribution to the world’s environmental protection.  Based on a true experiment research method, two vegetable inks are applied to three types of paper with the acknowledged eco-friendliest thermal CTP technology, and the experiment is verified with an offset press. At first, 100 samples are printed on each combination; then, 40 pieces of paper are sampled via a systematic sampling method. Lastly, an X-Rite 530 Spectrodensitometer is employed to acquire the data on six print quality attributes: solid ink density, dot gain, print contrast, trapping, hue error, and grayness. Furthermore, descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test, and one-way ANOVA from SPSS 12.0 software are utilized to examine if there are great distinctions in the attributes between each combination.  The following results are found in the experiment:  Regarding ink: In general, bio-ink performs better than            soy ink.  Regarding paper: Each type of paper has its advantages and disadvantages in different quality attributes. Neo Lotus 100 recycled paper performs better in 10% dot gain, 25% dot gain, 75% dot gain, and trapping; Neo Lotus 500 recycled paper has superior effects in 50% dot gain, 90% dot gain, and print contrast; wood-free paper, in comparison, excels in solid ink density, hue error, and grayness.
