Abstract

養豬業一直是臺灣地區畜牧產業的發展重心。過去豬隻的飼養多被視為傳統農家的副業;但近年來隨著經濟發展以及環保意識抬頭,使其逐漸朝向專業化與現代化的畜牧方式。本研究旨在以人文生態系統的概念,深入詮釋新北市林口區養豬戶構成內涵。研究結果主要有二:(一)在都市擴張的影響下,台北地區的養豬戶有由都市中心向都市近郊移動的空間趨勢,而新北市境內的林口區即為近三十年來的聚集地之一。(二)綜觀傳統與現代的黑毛豬養殖業,兩者不僅在豬隻食物蒐集和排泄物再利用的空間上有所擴大,其在肉品的運銷方式上亦有所變化,進而呈現出由單一農戶擴大至都市範圍的能量循環系統。
The swine industry plays an important role in Taiwan. From the perspective of human ecosystem, the paper begins by examining changing hog geography in Taipei. Then, the paper takes Linkou District for example, and closely coupled to these changing hog configurations is also changing relationship with fecal matter and energy recycling. These changes worked in complex ways, reflecting on (1) the distribution of swine industry in Taipei, (2) the range of collecting hog’s food , the way of reusing hog’s waste and the way of marketing.
