This research aims at probing into the relation of spiritual wellness, social interest and well-being of university students. Participants of this study are students from universities and colleges at Northern Taiwan, such as Taipei city and county, ILan county, TaoYaoung county and HsinChu city.Research tools used in this study include Spiritual Wellness Scale, Social Interest Scale, Well-being Scale and basic materials form. The data thus collected were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression. The main results are as follows: 1. Students of different conscientious health states, and religions show significant difference on Spiritual Wellness Scale; whereas gender difference, grades and family socio-economic status do not show significant difference on the total points of the scale. 2. Students of different conscientious family's atmosphere show significant difference on the social interest scale; whereas gender difference, grades and birth order do not show the difference on the Social Interest Scale. 3. Students of different grades, conscientious health state, associations, conscientious family's atmosphere, recreation activity and family socio-economic status show significant differences on “satisfied and happy” sub-scale of Well-being scale; where as gender difference, conscientious health state, associations, conscientious family's atmosphere show significant differences on “depressed and tired” sub-scale of Well-being scale; gender difference does not show difference on Well-being scale. 4. Scores of “looking for meaning of life” sub-scale of Spiritual Wellness Scale can predict social interest scores; scores of Social Interest Scale can predict “satisfied and happy” sub-scale of Well-being scale. The results of this research offer suggestions for the purpose of studying, educating and counseling in the future.
