Abstract: 本研究旨在針對華裔學習者對華語寫作的需求與特點,歸納出初中級華裔寫作教材的教學目標、編寫原則及內容重點。藉由文獻回顧、教材分析以及問卷調查的方式,本文以學習者的需求為出發點,結合相關寫作學理、寫作教學以及教材編寫原則的理論基礎,設計出一套適合華裔學生的初中級寫作教材,期望學習者能透過有系統的教材內容安排來提高寫作能力,也盼能促進專項技能類教材的發展,以及提升華語寫作教學領域的教學與研究品質。 本研究歸納出教材的編寫設計原則包括:1.針對性原則:教材定位為針對初中級華裔學生的語言技能訓練教材,針對具有中文語言與文化背景的初中級華裔學習者編寫。2. 趣味性原則:從學習者的觀點出發,在範例文章內容、語言風格和寫作練習的形式等方面突顯出趣味性。3.實用性原則:符合學習者的需求,滿足實際生活中的交際需要。4.交際性原則:教學內容的選擇和語言材料的組織要有利於交際能力的培養。5.文化原則:教材內容不僅呈現目的語主流文化和現代文化,也在課文內容中融入文化知識,增強華裔學習者對傳承文化的認同感。本研究也發現,初中級華裔寫作教材不同於一般寫作教材的內容重點有三:1.內容包含較為密集的文化成分;2.注重提升學習者的語體意識;3.相較於同級別的教材,在詞彙等級、語法編寫的難度控制上可保留較大的彈性。
This study has designed a beginning-intermediate level Chinese writing material specific for Chinese heritage learners. Through academic review, users’ needs analysis and surveys we aim at discoverine instructional goals, basic principles and main compositions of writing material. Following are five principles underlying Chinese writing material for beginning-intermediate Chinese heritage learners: 1.The aim of the material should be clear; 2.The content of essay sample and writing tasks should be interesting; 3.The content of the material should be useful and practicable; 4.The content and the organization of the material should help increase communication ability; 5.The material should adopt cultural elements in both traditional and modern Chinese language. Also, this study concludes that the writing material for Chinese heritage learners differs from regular writing materials in three aspects: 1. its composition contains more cultural elements. 2. It emphasizes the importance of distinguishing formal style from oral style. 3. Due to the students’ heritage language background, it has more flexibility in choosing vocabularies and grammar as compared with other materials of the same level.
