本文先以「學習如何去教」提醒教師學習教學的重要性,而後以美國情緒障礙教育所面臨的課題,分別為:早期發現與預防、針對反社會與攻擊性學生的教育、完備的社區化服務、學業技能與社會技能、對行為的功能性分析、連續性的替代性安置方案、工作與繼續教育的轉銜、多元文化的特殊教育、家庭與同儕團體的影響、美國當前社會欲解決的難題的十大課題,提供特殊教育工作者更深入地思考。
