資優教育的概念,在實際教育上的應用分三種層次:1.智商,2.創造能力 ,3.特殊能力。中美的教育計劃大都以智商做為設計資優教育的根本。美國小 學的資優教育計劃分1.自足式特殊教育計劃-加速跳級或充實課程的方式;2. 回歸主流教育計劃;3.特殊計劃-特殊學校內實施。美國中學的資優教育計劃 分為1.偏遠地區定期舉辦專題討論會;2.都市地區的特殊班型態。最後作者針 對我國資優教育提出問題和看法。
