本研究係就十一所台灣的小學(28位老師與112位資優生)所蒐集之晤談資料中釐清台灣學者與教師如何實施資優教育方案,進而比較中美兩國資優教育方案之 異同,並找出台灣資優教育中供美國參考之處。研究者從教師的訪談資料中,抽出七個主題,即台灣對資優教育的改良措施、資優的定義、教師的挑戰、資優生成長 的代價、權威、資優師資培訓課程及待解之問題。
