本研究旨在藉由一次大規模資優教育評鑑來探討臺灣的資優教育現況;在此次評鑑中,作者走訪了臺灣三縣市的33間中小學校的113班資優班(包含各種學術與 特殊才能班),歷時將近三個月,評鑑的主要項目包括行政事務與組織、鑑定與安置、課程與教學、場地與設備、社區資源運用以及學校特色等。本研究呈現評鑑過 程中所發現的一些資優教育問題,並且提出相關的討論與建議,以期對臺灣資優教育的發展有所助益。
