莫札特被人以許多方式提及:天才、神童、專家、有天分的人、有創造力的、聰明、和有天賦的。本文作者引用莫札特為例進行討論,其討論有兩個目的:(1)對 於我們用來談論特殊個體時所用的術語,澄清其本質;以及(2)介紹作者對於人類天賦的特殊觀點。 作者介紹一個名為資優矩陣的架構,並且將一些名詞提出暫時性的定義。接著,進行一項發展分析,檢視個體發展階段中的四個不同點:五歲、十歲、青年期、 成熟實務者,特別談到那些受重視的人類能力。最後並探討這個觀點的教育意義。 關鍵詞:多元智能、資優定義
