作者先說明攻擊行為的類型,包括內隱性攻擊、外顯性攻擊及不服從三種,它們所代表的訊息,以及老師如何觀察攻擊行為,並且如何反應是比較恰當的反應。接著,作者說明如何進行行為管理。從決定標的行為以及評量行為,以例子提醒教師應注意事項。此外,作者也說明如何進行事前矯正增強,以減少不當行為的發生。最後,作者說明爆發性行為的發生歷程,並提出老師如何因應及控制學生的行為。
