Abstract
本文旨在探討特殊教育教學軟體應肘與開發現出,以及其所面臨!版商投入研發意願低、軟體研發與警合人才不足、經費不足等窘境,並提出特殊教育教學軟體開發與應用導入開放源碼社群的優勢以及應用自由軟體的優點,包含百分之百掌握軟體的開發、運用社群力量解決技術問題、讓更多人關心特殊教育軟體的發展、教學上有更多元的選擇、以及有助於節省軟體方面的經費而增加硬體開發的資源等,據此作為特殊教育工作者未來開發或應用軟體時的參考。
The author first examined the current status in development and application of special education teaching software. Several predicaments were faced by educators: unwillingness of software corporation investment, shortage of manpower with software development and integration, and lack of funds , etc. The advantages of open source community and theadvantages of the application of free software were then depicted: (1) 100% control software development; (2) solving technical problems with the help from the community; (3) having more people caring about the development of special education teaching software; (4) leaving teachers more choices in selecting instruction software; and (5) cost-saving from software purchasing and thereby increasing sources of hardwaredevelopment.
