In recent years, entrepreneurs have been attempting to develop and sell new menstrual products suitable for Taiwanese or Asian women. This study aims to investigate the construction process of the first period underwear technologies in Taiwan using Actor-Network Theory (ANT).The findings reveal that in the development of the period underwear network, not only human actors such as entrepreneurs and employees possess agency, but non-human actors like functional fabrics and crowdfunding platforms also play significant roles. These actors interact directly or indirectly within the social network, forming a unique series of connections. In the later stages of network development, internal actors initiated curating actions to raise public awareness and discussion of menstruation as a public issue. This increased product exposure and strengthened the network, allowing the public to gain a one-time viewing experience that highlights the close relationship between everyday menstrual experiences and societal gender equality.女性科技公共議題月經褲行動者網絡理論策展Actor-network theoryCuratingFemtechPeriod underwearPublic issues月經褲技術的生成與影響:ANT視角的創業網絡建構歷程The Development and Impact of Period Underwear Technology: An Actor-Network Theory Perspective on Startup Networking學術論文
