To exam the effects, we will compare the students generated arguments, argumentative skills, learning achievement, attitudes toward learning, and interaction patterns between using devil’s advocate and not using devil’s advocate conditions. Besides, the design, application, and feasibility of a collaborative argumentation system will be investigated. Effects of Assigning Students to Play "Devil's Advocate" Roles in Computer-Supported Collaborative Argumentation
