Task-based language learning is a language teaching method and in association with a situated approach that emphasizes the need for students to use the target language extensively in role-playing for oral presentations to accomplish meaningful tasks. The focus of the task-based approach is on the completion of tasks, followed by the assessment of student performance in terms of language accuracy. Therefore, the task-based approach is particularly suitable for students' oral skills in aviation Chinese training and enhancing their confidence in speaking Chinese.
