The late President Chiang Kai-shek augmented Dr. Sun Yat-sen's thoughts by explaining the foundation of the Three Principles of the People through "humanity", "justice" and "legality". He also pointed out that the spirit "of the people, by the people, for the people" embodied in the Three Principles of the People was consistent with the ideal of "freedom", "equality" and "compassion". In addition, the late president revealed the truth of "ethics", "democracy" and "science".This article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is to expound the origin of the thought of the Three Principles of the People through. "humanity" "justice" and "legality". The second chapter is to explain the consistent spirit of the Three Principles of the People through "freedom" "equality" and "com-passion". The third chapter is to augment the final cause of the Three Principles of the people through the concept "of the people, by the people, for the people". The fourth chapter is to explore the necessary course of the Three Principles of the People through "ethics" "democracy" and "science". The fifth chapter is a practical comparison between the accomplishments of implementing the Three Principles of the People on Taiwan, ROC and the practice of Communism on mainland China.
