By historical research of the planning and development of major scales in electric bass performance, the author can review if it had been estimated and determined. To solidify the value of electric bass research, the researcher examined the historical development and performance characteristics of electric bass, as well as the importance of electric bass in pop music. After understanding that the core of electric bass performance is Bassline composed of scales, the definition of instructional materials, and its relationship with pedagogy were examined. The content of the major scale and its progress can be regarded as a microcosm of the overall content and progress of electric bass teaching.By the analysis of evolution of major scale instruction in electric bass books, and comparing with real world teaching, the author can conclude that: major scale performance in electric bass pedagogy has indeed developed into complete performance concepts, but they cannot be effectively inherited, developed and unified. The author needs to refine them to one truly dominant pedagogy concept, to advance the electric bass performance.電貝斯演奏教材教學大調音階Electric BassPerformanceInstructional MaterialsPedagogyMajor Scales電貝斯教學之教材發展—以大調音階演奏演進為例The Development of Instructional Materials for Electric Bass Pedagogy: A Study of Evolution in Major Scales Performanceetd
