A questionnaire is used as the main tool in this research, and then followed by 4 interviews. First of all, 70 students from Taipei city and Kaohsiung city were targeted to answer the questionnaire 'The Me Scale II'. The data was analyzed by using the average and the independent sample t-test. Based on the findings, 4 students with more overexcitabilites were then selected for further discussions. On the second stage, 4 mothers of the special 4 were interviewed to provide more information to supplement the statistic results. During the process of forming the research, we hope to understand the overexcitabilities in students with Asperger syndrome, the differences on their overexcitabilities between students in general, and how the overexcitabilities affects their daily life. Summarized conclusions are followed as: I. Overexcitabilities in different intelligence performances for students with Asperger syndrome. (1) On the overexcitabilities subscale of ten, gifted-intelligence students with Asperger syndrome were scored significantly higher in characters of "intellectual and perfectionistic" than those with general intelligence. (2) The average score for all AS is only significantly higher than general boys in the characters of "emotional" variability. Their average scores on the other seven qualities in excited, such as "psychological and physiological excitement, pleasure, intellectual, imagination, creativity and empathy" are relatively low. II. Interview details for students with Asperger Syndrome and with overexcitabilities (1) Overexcitabilities in "Emotional, sensory pleasure, intellectual, creativity, and imagination" may bring positive affects to students, but characters in "physiological excitement, sensitivity, perfectionistic and emotional "may lead to interpersonal conflicts and unstable emotions. (2) It is more difficult for mothers to discover their children’s overexcitabilities in “imagination, physiological and emotional”. Finally, according to the results of the study, recommendations were made for education, school supporting and further research.過度激動亞斯柏格症不同智力overexcitabilitiesAsperger syndromedifferent intelligence performances不同智力亞斯柏格症國中生之過度激動特質探究A Study of Overexcitabilities in Different Intelligence Performances for Students with Asperger Syndrome in Junior High School Level
