Despite deep-seated ressentiment, the protagonist of the novel overcomes it, while his best friend falls prey to its lethal "poison," from a Nietzschean perspective. By comparing the characters responses to ressentiment, this text seeks to illuminate its impact on individuals and the divergent outcomes which can arise. By the end, it is evident that the protagonist is more adept at skillfully overcoming ressentiment, thereby mirroring Nietzsche’s noble individual characterized in On the Genealogy of Morality. By examining A Wild Sheep Chase through the lens of Nietzschean thought, this thesis illustrates the complex interplay between society, ressentiment, and self-overcoming.尋羊冒險記村上春樹弗里德里希·尼采道德譜系怨恨A Wild Sheep ChaseHaruki MurakamiFriedrich NietzscheOn the Genealogy of Moralityressentiment村上春樹《尋羊冒險記》中的尼采怨恨Nietzschean Ressentiment in Haruki Murakami's A Wild Sheep Chase學術論文
