Sixteen youth softball players participated in this study, with average ages: 16.81±0.83 years, heights: 162.06±6.72 cm and weights: 59±8.41 kg, training age: 4.44±1.03 years. Biodex System 3 Quickset was used to measure the isokinetics knee PT. All subjects performed five maximal knee extension and flexion efforts at 60˚/s, 180˚/s and 300˚/s of both leg under concentric conditions. Two-way ANOVA repeated measure statistical procedures were applied on test of difference of the PT, F/E ratios. The significance level was set at α=.05. Results: The peak torque (PT) of knee extensor muscle groups at different velocities was significantly higher than flexor muscle groups (p< .05), and the PT value decreased with increase in velocities. The flexor/extensor ratios (F/E ratios) and reciprocal peak torque ratios (E/E ratios and F/F ratios) increased with velocities decrease; E/E ratios and F/F ratios difference in between 1-7 %. Conclusions: The findings of the present study indicate that the F/E ratios was not different between dominant/non-dominant leg, the E/E ratios and F/F ratios differ are lower than 10%. The results show that the softball players lower limb strength was not imbalance.等速肌力肌力平衡屈伸肌比值isokineticsmuscle balanceflexor/extensor ratios優秀高中女子壘球選手下肢等速肌力之研究Studies of Lower Limb Isokinetics Performance of the Elite High School Softball Players
