The first chapter states the motive for and the structure of this thesis. The second chapter gives a brief introduction of the author, Sara Mills, and summarizes the book chapter by chapter. The third chapter, based on the concept of “the hermeneutic circle”, describes the process of translating the book and explains how the translator understands and interprets certain terms in the text.
