In Dotzauer’s Quartet for Bassoon and Violin, Viola, Cello, Op. 36, he brought the sound effects of bassoon and strings in full play in the classical style form. This work displays the spirit of rationality, places emphasis on clarity, delicate structure, symmetry, and unintentionally shows elegant atmosphere and enjoyment of lightness at the same time.
