陳國川Chen, Kuo-Chuan王虹媛Wang, Hong-Yuan2019-08-292016-07-232019-08-292016http://etds.lib.ntnu.edu.tw/cgi-bin/gs32/gsweb.cgi?o=dstdcdr&s=id=%22G0501231113%22.&%22.id.&http://rportal.lib.ntnu.edu.tw:80/handle/20.500.12235/94050本研究主要探討彰化縣線西地區的地名演變。由日治到民國105年，鄉鎮、村里到街道路地名命名的依據及地名的演變。研究中透過文獻資料、疊圖分析，初步了解不同時期各層級的地名數量變化與其意涵；並且透過田野調查彌補文獻資料不足處，分類不同類型的行政區地名數量增減。歸納研究結果發現： 第一、從清末到今日，線西地區隨著在地人持續開墾，聚落地名數量持續增加，這些地名由當地人識覺環境而命名，聚落地名也反應出線西地區人們對地方的緊密聯繫。 第二、從清末到今日，線西地區由官方主導的各層級行政區命名中，可以發現：日本總督府多延續清代的街庄地名作為大、小字級地名。到了戰後，中華民國政府在村里級和街道級的地名命名上，正向用語和政治類的地名增加數量顯著，這也表示比起日本總督府，中華民國政府在地名命名採取更為強勢主導的手段。 第三、從治理的角度而言，線西地區政治類型的道路明顯集中在當地的政府機關或市集附近，也形成一種政治的空間符號。 綜合而言，線西地區在各層級行政區地名命名中，官方的行政策略與在地民眾的自我意識都具有關鍵的影響；地名是人和環境互動下的一種表現方式，如何讓地名更能傳遞出地方的特色，有賴政府與民間共同擬定更完善的地名命名依據。This study focused on the evolution of place names in Xianxi Region, Changhua County. The evolution of place names of the town, the village, road and place names from Japanese reign to 2016. The study is through the study of literature, overlay analysis, a preliminary understanding of the different levels of each period by the number of place names changes and its implications. And to make up for the lack of documentation, the study is also through the fieldwork to classify the different types of the number of the administrative changes in place names. The results were summarized as follows: First, from the late Qing Dynasty to today, people in Xianxi Region continued reclamation, the number of place names of settlements increased continually. These names were named after by the local people’s awareness of the environment. Settlement names also reflects close contact with the local people in Xianxi Region. Second, from the late Qing Dynasty to today, the official line from the western region of the leading names in each administrative level, all levels of government-led administrative nomenclature in Xianxi Region, the study found the Japan Governors continued to use Street Names in the Qing Dynasty as a big or small level village names. After the war, the number increased significantly that the ROC government used positive meanings and political types to name the villages and streets. This also means that the ROC government was more pre-eminent in place naming than Japan Governors. Third, from the point of view of governance, political types of roads in Xianxi Region clearly were concentrated in close vicinity to the local government or market, which has also created a political space symbol. Overall, among the various administrative levels in place names, the official administration policy and local people's self-consciousness have a major influence. A place name is an expression of people and the environment.
