| dc.description.abstract | The mechanism of “port state control” (PSC) is employed in ILO Convention Concerning Work in the Fishing Sector 2007 to ensure the compliance and enforcement of the treaty provisions. This study sets out to review the procedural aspects of the PSC mechanism, in particular those in relation to implement ILO conventions. At the same time, the current legal regime and practice of PSC in Taiwan is reviewed, so that recommendations can be made on the feasibility of and the strategies for the implementation of the 2007 Convention in Taiwan. | en_US |
