Abstract

本研究旨在開發高速、高精度及高密度之點膠塗佈系統,適用於面板表層玻璃(Cover glass)與氧化銦錫(Indium Tin Oxide, ITO)導電玻璃膠合、液晶面板模組(LCD module)膠合以及發光二極體(Light Emitting Diode, LED)之多晶封裝製作等。研究中,使用一種陣列式微細噴嘴結構的設計,透由壓力將光學膠塗佈於所需目標點上,以達到高速、高精度及高密度的塗膠效果。陣列式微噴嘴結構係以高速精密鑽削技術,於噴嘴板面適當位置,製成所需微細孔徑陣列,以符合觸控面板及微點狀或微透鏡結構之塗佈,如發光二極體所需膠合的位置。點膠塗佈系統以1 µm解析度之電動缸,透由自行設計的供料回饋系統,進行推膠與補償,以獲致精確之光學膠吐膠量。由實驗證實,本研究對於一次光學膠之最大吐膠量40 g,最小吐膠量0.002 g,其容積精度可控制在50 ppm以內,如此精度可避免光學膠溢膠或缺膠,且可大幅省卻後續刮膠及補膠的繁瑣程序,無論是點膠或塗佈,其製程時間均可減少至原單點製程一半以上,所需費用低。此項新研發,可應用於導光板、太陽能板及PCB電路等面板之膠合,亦能對夜光鍵盤上之發光二極體,提供LED多晶封裝製作,防止水氣滲入其中,深具高量產經濟價值。
The purpose of the thesis is to develop a high-speed, -precision and -density dispensing/coating system for combining cover glass with ITO glass, and packaging the multi-chip for LED array. A micro nozzle array design in which the optically clear adhesive is extruded by the cylindrical pressure to dispense onto the optical glass is proposed for the efficient achievement of the dispensing/coating process. According to the required schemes of touch panel and micro LED lens array, the micro nozzle array is precisely designed and analyzed by means of 3D CAD and then is machined by high speed pecking drilling. The developed dispensing/coating system possessing a high precision electric cylinder with 1 µm resolution can exactly feed and compensate optically clear adhesive through the designed supply system. Experimental results confirmed that the maximum and minimum feeding amounts of optical clear adhesive are 40 g and 0.002 g, respectively. In other words, a vacuum accuracy of 50 ppm is able to be realized exactly. This can avoid overflow and lack adhesive during dispensing/coating process and then leave out the operations of shaving and repairing adhesive. The novel development helps to save the cycle time down to half of the original process and considerably cost down. The technique will contribute significantly to the bonding processes of light-guide plate, solar panel, PCB, and multi-chip LED package. It will be substantial benefit to substantially improve the efficiency and accuracy of dispensing/coating in precision industry.
